On behalf of the Royal Navy Submarine Service and the Barrow Submariners Association, we are delighted to invite you to join us in celebrating the 125th Anniversary of the Royal Navy Submarine Service.

The celebrations will take place on:

Saturday 3rd October 2026

Programme of Events

11:30am – Serving & Veteran Submariners Muster at AE1 & AE2 Memorial
12:00pm – Main Parade at the Town Hall Forecourt
12:30pm – Meet and greet in the Town Hall
1:00pm – Buffet lunch and bar, including a Submarine Art Exhibition
2:00pm – Concert by the Scarborough Sea Cadet Band
3:00pm – Meet & Greet at the Royal British Legion, Barrow
4:00pm – 8:00pm – Refreshments and entertainment at the Royal British Legion, Barrow

This occasion will provide an opportunity to celebrate 125 years of the Royal Navy Submarine Service and recognise the proud and historic connection between the Submarine Service and the town of Barrow.

We would be honoured by your attendance.
